So we got some good reactions on Friday's post about giving free coffee to local businesses.
Monday we're actually doing it. Heading to The Kidney Clinic with cold brew lattes for the whole staff. They showed up heavy in the comments and we wanted to show up for them.
That's what Local Love Fridays is all about — just showing up for people in our community who show up every day, you know?

First Father's Day, man.
Not much happening around the house, but it's wild thinking about all the Father's Days I celebrated with my own dad. Now I'm on the other end of it, which is kinda weird to wrap my head around.
I don't really care much for birthdays/self ceebrations, but it's nice when people show they care about you, you know?
This one hits different because of her. Every 3am alarm, every batch I roast — it all means something now.

I started Kingdom Cup Coffee because I believed a cup of coffee could be more than a transaction. Today reminded me why.

Hope you get to slow down today and spend some time with the people that matter most.
Personally, I look forward to that Sunday morning cup right before service starts. As my mentor Daniel Bell always said — "Nothing helps you feel the Holy Ghost like a little caffeine."
From my experience in church gatherings, I can confirm this is true. 😄
