It’s Meatloaf Monday down at Roadside Cafe 2145.
The meatloaf is covered in a red sauce and it’s sooo delicious, and flavorful. The loaded mashed potatoes danced on my tastebuds. And the cabbage is bomb. This plate only cost me $15 and its plentiful
BUT if You don’t like meatloaf cool.
She’s also serving up some of the BEST wings. Go check her out on the square here in La Grange. You can’t miss the purple trailer.

I’m back at Good Day Cafe (located across from subway in the old Hank’s express spot) for lunch today. The liver and onions were so good the other day. I decided to explore the menu. They have options besides the daily lunch special. And well you just can’t go wrong with an classic cheeseburger, and man this burger is good. The buns are delicious alone. The burger patty was juicy and full of flavor... the burger itself was great, I’ll definitely be back.

And one more thing! Noel’s Kitchen serving up breakfast all summer. Check out this big ass breakfast burrito. Filled with steak, eggs, beans, cheese and fries. I also added avocado. And let me tell you at least 4 of us ate this burrito. You can’t beat that for $11.99.

Today’s Lunch (liver and onions) was Good Day Cafe formerly known as Hank’s express.
Let’s talk about options. Yes they have a daily lunch special, but my favorite thing is the grab n gos. There might be salads, sandwiches it depends, but you got choices. The iced lattes are great as well. So swing by and give them a try. They are located right across from subway.

& here we are today at Texas Thomas BBQ & Catering in Columbus.
We got a boudin stuffed turkey leg, a side of Mac & cheese and for the low price of $25. It doesn’t get no better.
Make that trip and leave happy.

Alright guys. If you’re in or around the Bryan/ College Station area. I found another hidden gem The Remnant of Nawlins.
My friend Aaron brags about this spot often and well why not check it out.
Featured is the Meat Pies. A solid 9.5. My only complaint would be they were served with ranch (iykyk. I hate ranch). But they were definitely hot and flavorful.
2nd picture was the entree. I’m not gonna lie. Those green beans were delicious. (10/10)
The wings and pork chop (9.8 cause there were were straight out the grease) I didn’t try them til I got home… BUT know they were delicious as well. Just the right amount of seasoning and they were still crispy after the hour and 30 minute drive home. The Mac and cheese was made with love. Pure love.
So if you’re in the BCS Area go check them out. The menu maybe small but it’s MORE than enough. More importantly it’s an affordable spot. For an appetizer, and 2 meals it was under $45.

Today, I had the pleasure of hitting The Oxtail Factory in Hearne. This plate here was nothing short of memories of my Grandmas and Aunties in the kitchen.
This place is definitely on my comeback list and trust me it’s well worth the drive. Check em out
