Fall in the Smokies isn’t one-stop color. 🍂

A scenic drive on Newfound Gap Road, big views from Gatlinburg Sky Park and Newfound Gap Overlook, a quieter walk on the Gatlinburg Trail, then a waterfall stop at Indian Creek Falls.

The useful part: color changes at different times depending on elevation, so having a few different kinds of stops gives you more chances to catch a good show.

Five bucks can still buy you a pretty full afternoon in the Smokies.

That $5 is the daily parking tag. Once you’re parked, wander through the Mountain Farm Museum, follow the river trail, and stick around later in the day when you may spot elk moving through the fields. 🦌

History, scenery, a good walk, and wildlife without stacking up attraction tickets.
