🍂🌮 HAPPY FALL, Y’ALL! PLEASE SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL FOOD TRUCK COMMUNITY! 🌮🍂
As we head into the fall season, we want to take a moment to share something about the food truck business. ❤️🚚
Most people don’t realize how expensive it really is to run a food truck. Between city permits, yearly permits, licenses, insurance, food costs, gas for generators, diesel for our truck, and all the time and hard work that goes into preparing for an event, the expenses add up quickly even before we serve our first customer!
Now imagine paying to participate in an event, spending money on food and supplies, driving to the location, setting everything up, and only having 12 people come out to eat. Or showing up to an event where 6 plus food trucks are scheduled to serve the same crowd.
Please remember that behind these food trucks are real people, families, and small businesses trying to make a living. For many of us, this isn’t just a hobby or extra income. This is how we take care of our families, pay our bills, and keep a roof over our heads. ❤️
We love serving our communities, meeting new people, and being part of local events. We are always grateful for opportunities to set up and serve.
🙏 Event organizers, please consider the expected attendance when booking food trucks. Booking more trucks than the crowd can support can make it difficult for everyone to earn enough to cover their expenses. We all want to see events succeed, and we want the vendors who show up to support those events to succeed, too!
And to everyone who supports local food trucks by purchasing a meal, sharing a post, recommending us to friends, or simply stopping by to say hello THANK YOU! 🥹❤️ Your support means more than you know.
This fall, let’s remember to support our local, family owned businesses. When you choose a small business, you’re keeping our local communities thriving.
There is room for all of us to succeed when we support one another!
From our family at El Sapito Food Truck to yours, we wish you a wonderful, safe, and happy fall season! 🎃 🍁🌮🚚
