When I started Rocky Top Hot Dogs just over three years ago, I spent those first few weeks driving around Knoxville, stopping at local businesses and asking if they’d let me set up. Bootlegger Harley-Davidson was one of my stops, and Tony was the very first person to say yes!

From the moment we met, Tony and everyone at Bootlegger made us feel so welcome. They humored us, came out to grab a hot dog, and treated us like old friends. It didn’t take long to realize what kind of man Tony was. He was the kind of person who looked out for everyone around him and made sure people were taken care of.

He offered us words of encouragement when we were just getting started, and he made sure to slip a ridiculous amount of cash into my daughter’s tip jar. ❤️ That’s the kind of person he was.

I’ll forever be grateful that Tony said yes that day. That one simple yes meant more to us than he probably ever knew.

We’re keeping Tony’s family, friends, and everyone at Bootlegger Harley-Davidson in our prayers during this difficult time. Rest easy, Tony. Thank you for your kindness, your generosity, and for being one of the first people to believe in us. ❤️🙏
