Out of my very black frizzle hen, I managed to steal a few eggs she was sitting on before she was hurt by a predator. Fredrick hatched out of it- lol. Happy to have a frizzle white eared rooster! Will make for some fun chicks in future.

Sad day on the farm. Rushed one of the grow outs to a bird specialist today, to find out it had an inoperable tumor. It’s never a good feeling to loose something you invest in. I am thankful to our local vet for the help keeping the goose comfortable while getting to specialist. RIP my blue saddleback baby, we will miss you!
