Carr Chicken Co. Est. 2000, still growing strong!! Pluckin' Ain't Easy! Chicks are started in rooms we have built in the shed for 2-3 weeks depending on the weather.

We grow and process more than 2,000 head of pastured poultry a year from April through October with an expansion in the works for this coming season. Then we move them out to pens in the pasture where they spread fertilizer, forage for bugs, grass, seeds and a corn feed ration we provide, along with getting sunlight and fresh air. The pens get moved once a day. We provide them shelter from the wea

ther to the best of our abilities in the meantime. When they near 7 weeks old, we contact customers that have pre-ordered for that month and we set up a pick-up date. Buyers come to the farm, often with their families and friends to pick up their fresh-dressed chickens on those days. We provide you with chicken you can enjoy eating and it's good for you- the best around!
