Are you heading to the My Gluten Free World event this Friday/Saturday in Sandy?! This is an event that is definitely worth the trip and one that I'm disappointed to miss due to work this year. The entire expo hall is filled with gluten free companies offering samples and discounts so you can try and purchase what you love right there on site! They'll even have options for you to eat a meal there, if you'd like. You don't want to miss this, especially if you're newer to the gluten free world.

This is my husband's favorite recipe and one that I quickly adjusted to be gluten-free after his celiac diagnosis. If you have a sensitivity to oats, even the certified gluten-free ones, or if you are allergic to peanuts, this might not be the recipe for you. Otherwise, enjoy!

We stayed in Midway for our anniversary this summer and tried Midway Mercantile Restaurant for dinner one night! The food was delicious and their gluten free protocol was top tier! The fries are cooked in a separate fryer, and we even got to share a dessert! The owner came around to chat and we had a good conversation about the gluten-free food! Highly recommend if you're in the area and looking for something good!

Pizza is the food my husband misses the most since going gluten free. He'd love to get a takeout pizza with thick, soft crust and minimal effort on his part...

He LOVES Via 313 gluten free pizza, but they've yet to open in Davis County (although they keep saying they're going to). His second choice, the DiGiorno freezer pizzas are hard to find. So when he sent me the reel from Dave’s Pizza Oven I knew we had to make them, and they were so easy and successful that they've become a regular part of our meal plan.
