18 years… it’s hard to put into words what that really means. As I reflect on our 18th anniversary tomorrow, I'm humbled and honored to look back on what you've helped us build.
In 2008, Marcus and I -- with the kind of friendship that can only be forged in the restaurant world's trenches -- opened the door on our dreams (Michelle and a new baby boy in tow), having no idea what the future would hold.
Today, while Marcus and I may look slightly "wiser" 🤣, we're still standing side by side bringing the food we love to others.
That baby boy is old enough to be hired as a bartender.
We’ve faced floods that tested everything. Ice storms that took our power but never our determination. And COVID — one of the hardest chapters — which we made it through because of the incredible support of this community.
We’ve celebrated countless birthdays with our team — our extended family. We’ve danced through Mardi Gras parties, toasted every anniversary with gratitude, and built friendships that have lasted far beyond shifts and schedules. Some of our people have been with us since the very beginning, and that means more than words can ever say.
This place has never been just a business. It’s been resilience, family, laughter, heartbreak, growth, and community.
To everyone who has walked through our doors, worked beside us, supported us, and believed in us — thank you for being part of our journey. You are the reason we’re still here.
18 years later … and we’re just getting started.
