Welcome to IMUA — a locally loved, fully plant-based coffee roastery nestled just steps from the beach in Kapa‘a. We roast organic, fair-trade beans in small batches and serve handcrafted drinks with house-made alternative milks and warm vegan banana bread fresh out of the oven.

Power is back!! ⚡️ We’ve got the ice machine going and Wi-Fi is up and running.

Free Wi-Fi! Come hang out and use ours if you need it. Spectrum gave us an extra boost this month because of , so we can accommodate more Wi-Fi usage too.

WE ARE OPENING THURSDAY ☕️
We’re not quite sure what our menu will look like yet, but we will be open.

We still don’t have power at IMUA, but we’re fortunate to have power at home, which means we can prepare cold brew and safely keep our milks cold. We’re hopeful power will be restored at the shop before we open tomorrow.

Most importantly, we hope you and your families are okay. We feel incredibly fortunate to have come through the storm safely, and we’re thinking about everyone in our community who has had a much harder few days.

Come by if you can. We’ll make you whatever we’re able to! 💪🥰 ☕️

This ray of sunshine walked into IMUA with her friend today. She smiled, we talked, she got a coffee for the road — and for a few minutes, two lives that had never crossed before did.
