Honey in the stand daily! Thought this sign I found on sale was fitting for our home! Missing the 3 from my house number...it fell off and I haven't gotten around to replacing. 😅 our house number was only tiny on the mailbox so I added these to the door. Probably should do vinyl or paint...anyone else have those little things to fix that go months... maybe that's just me? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Mr & Mrs - opposites attract story 😜 Well started the morning with a scammer...first he wanted to do pick up, then gave me a local address for delivery, then after supplying my Venmo code he claimed he paid. I said I didn't see it. He said "hold on" then told me he was on the phone with Venmo support and I needed to call this number and give a case number to resolve it....well I outsmarted him 🤓and looked up Venmo's support number...called it...they weren't open yet!!!! I was going to be done with the call. Mr. O'Honey was ready to play around. So he said he'd meet him at QT. After being persistent on us needing to call that number he eventually knew he was caught and removed himself from the chat. The address he supplied was a vacant rental within 12 miles of our house! It was an $80 order. He wasted at least 40 minutes trying to get that from us.

In the aftermath of honey harvest, three surprise lilies made it. Usually we have the whole walk lined with them. We are hoping this is our last front porch extraction and next year we will have a dedicated space in a new shop that's in progress. Our hope is to be able in time to host folks to learn more about bees and the process. Education about bees is important to us. It's a fascinating process!

Do we render the wax? Yes, but we use pre-built foundation frames so the bees have less work to get started but that means not a ton of wax. However our oldest daughter R wants to take what we have and make wax coated fabric that you can use instead of plastic wrap. Would anyone be interested in those? What size fabric square would you want?
