This line said it all today. Thank you to everyone who came out to grab a dog (or a beef), we didn't expect to move this much product this fast! We're taking tomorrow to restock and prep so we can come back even stronger. Follow along here for our next open day. Hours and catering are limited through September, but we'll be running full operating hours starting in October!

It’s the kind of place we love. And we’re going to keep it that way.
We’re the team behind Saul’s Italian Beef — and now, Morty’s Famous Hot Dogs.
We’re getting everything ready, and as soon as our operating permits are in hand, Morty’s will be back!
You’ll find us around Kansas City serving up Morty’s classics, along with pop-ups, special events, catering and more.

The future of Morty’s is in good hands. The new operators are Chef Michael Iammarino, Chef Ethan Wheeler, and Operations Manager Pasquale Trozzolo. They’ve spent the last two years building Saul’s Italian Beef, one pop-up at a time - passionate about Chicago food and preserving everything that made Morty’s special. Same trailer, Same Chicago dogs, Same friendly service. Plus, Saul’s Italian Beef.
