Looking for all sorts of vendors for our second annual Christmas Market at MillCreek Academy in Williamsburg. Part of the Elk Rapids school system.

Food vendors, services you offer, art, crafts, face painting, gift wrapping, new/old businesses looking to mingle and market, holiday floral arrangements, use your imagination! We would love to have you :)

Cost is $40 per booth. Proceeds go directly to the school for their new playground project!

Tonight, we moved the food trailer home. And just like that… farewell, summer. ☀️🐝
Normally, following that trailer home at the end of the season is such a bittersweet feeling. I’m usually a little heartbroken, wishing for just a few more warm days, a few more events, a little more summer.
But this year? I’m letting out the deepest sigh of absolute relief.
Because literally NOTHING that happened this summer was on my bingo card.
The water slide accident. My health. The weather. The endless rain. The smoke. The curveballs that seemed to come one after another. Yeah… it was quite the summer.
There were so many moments when I genuinely wondered how we were going to keep everything moving. And the truth is, I absolutely could not have made it through this season without my family. They stepped in, picked up the pieces, worked beside me, carried things when I couldn’t, and supported me through all of it. I will never be able to fully express how grateful I am for them. ❤️
So tonight, instead of being sad watching that trailer come home, I’m looking at it with gratitude.
We made it.
Maybe not gracefully. 😂 Maybe not according to plan. Definitely not according to the bingo card.
But we made it.
The trailer is home. Summer is coming to an end. And this year, I’m more than ready to close this chapter, take a deep breath, and welcome whatever the next season brings. 🍂🐝
Farewell, summer. You were one for the books. ✌️

A little personal note from behind the counter today. 🐝💛
If you stop by and notice the pastry case isn't quite as full as usual, there's a reason.
Tomorrow morning, after six very long months of waiting, I'm finally having a biopsy on my thyroid.
This weekend I had a choice: spend hours in the kitchen making pastries, or spend that time with the people I love most. This weekend, my family won. And I don't regret that decision for a second.
I'm here at the food truck today, doing my best to stay busy, but I'd be lying if I said there wasn't a little cloud hanging over me. I'm nervous, emotional, hopeful, and very ready to finally have some answers.
I'm choosing to believe good news is coming.
Thank you for supporting this little business through the beautiful days and the hard ones, too. If you've got an extra prayer, positive thought, or bit of good energy to send my way tomorrow morning, I'll happily take it. 🤍
And today, please give me a little grace if I'm not quite myself. 🐝
