Had a great time at Smokin Ribs for the Kids last weekend. It was a same day double that was a little hectic. In the first comp I was able to get a 6th place chicken call and 5th overall. In the second comp I had a 5th place rib call and 6th overall.

The Good Charcoal Company kept the drums running clean and hot all day

Another awesome day of BBQ in Troy, Illinois! We finished the day with:

🐔 2nd Place Chicken
🐷 8th Place Ribs
🏆 3rd Place Overall — technically, we tied for 2nd and lost the coin toss! 😂 Looks like I need to add coin tosses to the practice schedule!

Huge congratulations to Snake Holler BBQ on the Grand Championship and Smoked By The Brooks BBQ on the Reserve Grand Championship! Congratulations as well to everyone who heard their name called. It was a great weekend with some awesome competition!
