Next time you stop in for coffee, look down and you’ll spot a piece of Jefferson history, the “J.J. SEGAL 1894” footplate at our entrance. Joseph J. Segal was a prominent local dry-goods merchant whose business operated in Jefferson during the late 1800s and early 1900s. More than 130 years later, his name still remains right beneath our feet. Come have a cup of coffee with a piece of history! ☕❤️

The Kahn is hosting PAM MORRIS!

Pam is an artist from Omaha, has been enjoying creating art for many years. In 2001 she learned to draw and work with graphite, a medium she still enjoys today. In 2023, she began to explore other mediums such as acrylic and watercolors and in 2024 discovered colored pencils which quickly became her medium of choice. Her award winning art has become a local favorite. Pam has 2 children, 4 grandchildren and last year became a great grandmother for the first time. Born and raised near Omaha, TX she has worked as a photographer for the local newspaper and worked as a graphic artist and designer for a number of years. Retirement in 2022 left Pam with time to finally pursue art again.

Please stop by and see her wonderful pieces of art and grab a cold drink!

Is everyone ready for a fabulous day filled with beautiful art?? We sure are!!!

We asked our artist to give us a quick bio so everyone, allow me to introduce PAM MORRIS!
