Yesterday, pulling out of the parking lot, there they were, with a show of color floating down from the high skies, the Parachuters!
It was like seeing the first Robin in early spring!

Also, word from the dining room... there's been Harley attire at several tables. Welcome!

Moving towards a fresh new week!

We'll start with a short farm report.

Tom, our asparagus man, reported that the nasty frost last week froze his first cutting......
Meg, from High Meadows Farm should have arugula this week. Last spring, we tossed it in balsamic, and served it on creamy fontina flat bread.....
Bill and I will be picking rhubarb. If you happened to try the pickled grapes and jicama last week, the rhubarb is next in line to be pickled......

The Madison Classics Car Show is in town and our little parking lot can become a show on its own!

Here's a recap on last week.....
Filets and Prime Rib tied for first place
Roast Duck flew way ahead of Smoked Chicken
Rainbow Trout, gone
And the pressure was on Colin Saturday night to keep up with Relish Trays!
Great job Staff!

Duck, slow roasted with reduced port sauce.

A beautiful Wedge Salad with butter lettuce, double smoked bacon and gorgonzola.

Crispy Romaine Cesar salad with traditional anchovy and parmesan dressing, shaved parmesan, and fresh made croutons.
