But over the last four seasons, we’ve watched a late snow or frost roll in just days (sometimes a week) before opening. That’s exactly why we wait until the 18th: to make sure the frost risk is likely behind us, so your plants can settle in strong and thrive to their fullest all season long.
A little patience now means much happier gardens later. See you soon! 🪴

🌟🚚Thats a wrap for food truck season, and we ended with a beautiful bride and handsome groom🍕👏🏼

I also received the sweetest surprise yesterday from Mrs. Skagg’s 3rd grade class, thanking me for providing boxes for their writing project.

The kids went above and beyond decorating the cards for me, and it just warmed my heart. ❤️ It's always bittersweet closing up for the season, but moments like these make everything worth it.

As I wrap up my 5th year running this food truck, I want to take a moment to thank everyone who has supported me along the way. Your encouragement and love have made this journey incredible! Here’s to many more delicious adventures ahead! 🍕🚚💕

Last night serving in Petersburg IL at Lincoln's New Salem State Historic Site! We will be serving 4:00pm-8:00pm! Bring the kiddos and experience the candlelight walk happening between 5:00pm-7:30pm.

We are back for our new, expanded Candlelight Walk experience tomorrow night (Friday, October 10th) from 5PM to 7:30PM.

We had great reviews from the participants of the first weekend, and are excited to welcome more visitors to experience this unique event.

Come see the historic village that Abraham Lincoln called home as it transitions from light to dark. You only have six more nights to experience this "magical" event.

Our food vendors (Railsplitter Gifts and Eatery and Leo's Pizza on Wheels) will be open until 8PM each night. You can also get some FREE hot chocolate outside of the Visitor Center.

The new, expanded Candlelight Walk event will occur on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings from 5PM to 7:30PM each night.

Can't make it this weekend? You will have one more weekend to see it all (October 17th to 19th).
