We have an exciting announcement‼️📣 🎉

For those who may be new here, we have always been about more than desserts.

It’s about family. It’s about gathering around a table, sharing something sweet, and creating memories with the people you love.

It’s also about legacy. Lamont’s Kitchen, our partner brand, carries pieces of Briyona’s father, whose passion was cooking and serving others, and Big Baby Cakes was inspired by her uncle, whose love for sweets helped shape so much of what Big Baby Cakes has become today.

Many of you walked alongside us during our previous brick-and-mortar journey with Lamont’s Kitchen. While things didn’t go exactly as we hoped, we learned more than we could have imagined. Those lessons gave us wisdom, perspective, and a stronger foundation for what’s next.

Today, we’re excited to share that we’re working toward opening a new Big Baby Cakes X Lamont’s Kitchen location on August 15. 🎉

Over the next few months, we’ll be sharing the journey with you—the wins, the work behind the scenes, the vision, and the ways you can be part of it. 🫶🏻

Whether you’ve purchased a cake jar, stopped by a pop-up, booked catering, shared a post, or simply cheered us on, you’ve helped make this dream possible. 🥹

Thank you for believing in us. We’re just getting started, and we are excited for this season of expansion! 🍰🤍

This week it’s all about to make sense ! Stay tuned 🎉

Breakfast is served 🍳🔥

Pork scrambler with eggs, sautéed zucchini, squash, and onions — high protein, low calorie, and built to fuel your day the right way.

Quick tip: You don’t have to eat the moment you wake up. Tap in with your body. Eat when you’re actually hungry, not just out of habit.

Real discipline is being intentional. That’s how you level up your lifestyle.

Stay tuned for the video of how I created this !

Alright… next up is the meat section 👀

And let me say this first:

Just because it says “ON SALE” does not mean it’s a good deal.

Read that again.

If you’re prepping for the week or shopping for a family, paying a little more upfront for the family-size pack can actually save you more money than grabbing the single-serve portion that’s marked down.

Why?

Because cost per pound > sale sticker.

Making smart decisions in the meat department will absolutely make or break your grocery budget.

Sometimes the “deal” isn’t the deal.
Sometimes the value is in buying larger, portioning it yourself, and planning ahead.

If you’re meal prepping for the week, stop automatically reaching for the small packs just because they’re on sale. Think bigger. Think long-term.

If you’re ready to learn this on a deeper level and stop guessing in the grocery store…

Join my grocery shopping class.

Let’s shop smarter, not harder. 👩🏾‍🍳💚

The first thing you see when you walk into the grocery store is the produce section.

That’s where your experience begins.

You’ll find fresh, whole produce (nothing prepped) AND convenience options — washed, chopped, and ready to go.

But here’s the real question…

Before you even walk in the store, have you decided what you’re shopping for?

Do you need convenience?
Or can you prep from scratch?

This one decision will make or break your grocery trip.

If you don’t decide beforehand, you’ll overspend, overbuy, and waste food. Every. Time.

Having clarity before you walk in helps you:
✔ Spend less money
✔ Save time
✔ Stop wasting food
✔ Actually cook what you buy

I’m your favorite Chef friend, Chef Bri 👩🏾‍🍳

If you’re ready to grocery shop with a plan (because nobody ever taught us how), join me for my grocery shopping class.

You’ve never been taught — and that’s okay.

Let me help you. 💚
