As a worker here, I just wanted to come on here and say a few things. I dont say much because the public is brutal when it comes to comments on "fakebook"... especially with a business.

I walked in the door this morning. Just fresh from a doctor appointment. It was eleven thirty seven in the morning on a busy thursday. The phone was ringing and it was a customer calling to ask why we haven't posted father's day specials yet. She wanted to know how she was gonna plan her day on sunday if I didn't have specials posted yet. I had just gotten done posting the lunch and dinner specials for the day. I said, ma'am, we have not gotten that far yet.

Father's Day, and everyday, there's always a specials menu here.
We are a very small establishment who has very few employees that do a great job of keeping this place running. I understand we need to plan ahead.

I also know for a fact is that planning the daily operations around here requires a lot of work, time and effort. Missing holidays, family get togethers, days off, even sometimes... birthdays. My family has helped to keep this place running, my kid grew up and is graduating next week somehow, and sometimes I wish people would be a little more thoughtful about the business that we do and the work that is required on and off the scenes. Its a 24/7 job. Even if we're not at work, we're still thinking about work.

Here, we take care of our customers and we care about each and every one of them. If that wasn't the case, I wouldn't have been doing this as long as I have. I love my job, all of my employees(some 😉) and customers. To me, this is my second home, and family.

With that being said, when it comes to planning on special days, if you need to know the menu before you come to Toms, that's not what we're about. We always have good, homemade food at very reasonable prices with very large portions compared to everyone else, and service with a smile. Sometimes you even get a special visit from the chef or the owner who appreciate each one of you.

Please come and join us on sunday, and everyday for that matter, we would love to have you!
