Quite possibly the BEST deli sandwich I’ve ever had — and trust me, I’ve eaten a lot of sandwiches. 😂 Everything about it just WORKED.

🍉 Melon Tours at Tanaka Farms in Irvine, California!

One of my favorite things about coming out to the farm? There’s basically no Wi-Fi — and I actually LOVE that. 😂 You can still take all the photos, but you’re not sitting there scrolling. You’re spending time with your family, enjoying the farm and getting a little break from busy schedules and everyday life.

The Melon Tour was SO much fun! 🍉🍅 We picked and ate cherry tomatoes, learned about green beans and squash, and tasted so many different varieties of watermelon. Bring the kids hungry because there is plenty to taste along the way!

And don’t leave after the tour! Friday nights at the farm are such a fun family night out. There are games for the kids, food hot off the grill — hot dogs, chicken sandwiches and more — plus local vendors and small businesses with booths selling their products. Go show those small businesses some love! 🤍 There are even adult beverage options from vendors for the grown-ups.

Friday nights are currently 5–9 PM, so make an evening of it. Take the tour, grab some food, shop the small businesses, let the kids play and just enjoy being together.

No scrolling required. 😉🍉🌻

Summer Farro Salad 🍑🥗

This might be my favorite salad I’ve made all summer!

After my walk today, I wanted something fresh that would actually keep me full, and this did exactly that. The sweet nectarines and cantaloupe with the salty feta, fresh mint, crisp veggies, chewy farro, and blackberry balsamic dressing… every bite is SO good!

Ingredients:
🥗 Cooked farro
🥒 English cucumber, diced
🫛 Shelled edamame
🌱 Snap peas, sliced
🧅 Red onion, thinly sliced
🌿 Fresh mint, chopped
🍑 Nectarines, sliced
🍈 Cantaloupe, cubed
🧀 Crumbled feta

Blackberry Balsamic Dressing:
✨ 2 parts extra virgin olive oil
✨ 1 part blackberry balsamic vinegar
✨ Salt & freshly cracked black pepper

Toss everything together and enjoy!

About a year ago, Bruno and I were out on one of our daily walks when I noticed something I’d never seen before.

There was a young man grooming a dog out of the back of his minivan. It wasn’t a fancy mobile grooming van—just a grooming table, his tools, and someone willing to work hard to build a dream.

I stopped to ask if he had a business card, and we started talking. He told me he was saving every dollar he could to buy his own mobile grooming van someday.

I remember walking away thinking, this guy is going to make it.

I hired him to groom Bruno that day, and we’ve been with him ever since.

Fast forward to today… he did it. Through hard work, dedication, and believing in himself, he now has his own mobile grooming van, and I couldn’t be happier for him.

As a small business owner, stories like this mean everything to me. I know what it’s like to start from the ground up, and I have so much respect for people who are willing to put in the work before anyone else sees the vision.

I truly believe referrals matter. In 2026, one of the greatest gifts we can give another small business is simply sharing their name. Social media isn’t just about posting our own lives—it’s also about lifting up the incredible people who help make our lives easier and better.

I will never be the person who keeps a great business to myself. Whether it’s my hairstylist, nail technician, photographer, mechanic, or someone who takes amazing care of Bruno, I believe those hardworking people deserve to be recognized.

If you’re in Orange County and looking for an honest, hardworking mobile dog groomer who truly loves what he does, I can’t recommend Bath Buddies enough. Bruno absolutely loves him, and I couldn’t trust him more with our family dog.

Congratulations on everything you’ve accomplished. It’s been such a privilege watching your journey, and I’m so proud of how far you’ve come. Here’s to many more years of success! 🐾💙 BathBuddies
