🚨 BIG NEWS TOASTED FANS… 🚨

The Berkeley County Youth Fair is doing something brand new this year, and we need your help!

On Monday, August 3rd at 6:00pm, every food vendor at the fair will go head-to-head in The Fairwich Face-Off! 🥪🔥

Here’s how it works:
👨‍🍳 Every vendor gets 30 minutes to create their best sandwich.
👀 You get to watch it happen.
😋 You get to taste.
🗳️ And YOU vote for the winner!

The best part? The winning sandwiches won’t just disappear after the competition… every vendor has to keep their competition sandwich on their menu! So this isn’t just about bragging rights for us, it’s about creating something so good that we’ll proudly serve it all week long.

Now we’ve got some thinking to do… 🤔

Today is our very first time at Green Hill Farm in Sharpsburg, MD, and we’re excited to finally bring toasted across the state line! 🧀🔥

We don’t make it to Maryland very often, so if you’ve been wanting to try us (or you’ve been telling your Maryland friends about us), today is the day!

Well… Food Truck Face-Off IV is officially in the books! 🏆🧀 🍖

First and foremost, THANK YOU to every single person who came out to support all of the food trucks. The turnout was incredible, the atmosphere was awesome, and we had an absolute blast.

A huge thank you also goes out to everyone who followed along with all of the back-and-forth between us and Titan BBQ. We hope you all enjoyed the endless smack talk, the pranks, the jokes, and the friendly rivalry as much as we did. At the end of the day, it was all about having fun and putting on a great show for everyone who came out.

When the votes were counted last night, toasted came away with the win… but the real winner was everyone who got to spend the day eating amazing local food and having a good laugh. ❤️

We can’t thank you enough for supporting local businesses and making events like this so special.

Now… we have one last very important question…

We made a strategic decision today… 🤔

Julie and I had to run to Frederick to pick up supplies for tomorrow’s Food Truck Faceoff, and while we were there, we found “That GOOD BBQ”.

We figured we’d better eat BBQ today… because there’s a pretty good chance we’ll be too busy serving grilled cheese to eat tomorrow. 😉🧀

So don’t worry, Titan BBQ… we got our BBQ fix out of the way. 😎

Today we got to be customers instead of serving them.

While helping a friend move some stuff to Morgantown, we stopped by Bites X Sips, and all we can say is… 10/10. 🍔🍟🍋

The smashburger was phenomenal, the 7th street loaded fries were incredible, and the fresh-squeezed lemonade absolutely lived up to the hype. They had a clean truck, quality ingredients, and a team that clearly cares about what they’re serving.

As fellow food truck owners, we know how much work goes into doing things the right way. It’s always awesome to see another small business putting out food they’re proud of.

If you’re ever in the Morgantown area, do yourself a favor and check them out. We definitely will be stopping back the next time we’re up that way.
