I usually stick to talking about food on our page or something that affects Martin County. As a hillbilly girl who grew up on a one lane road, I admired Dolly’s humble beginnings and her remaining true to herself. Being poor and Appalachian never held her back. She showed me that with dream and drive, you can be who and what you want to be. Rest easy Dolly. Thanks for your loving and giving spirit. Your light surely didn’t hide under a bushel. It shined for millions of us. You spoke of your faith and God centered life. God gave your life a special purpose and annointing. Dolly Parton We will always love you. 🦋
