I am Ivy, 5th months ago, I became the owner of CM Korean Chicken in Avon. ❤️
Most days, I don’t have much time to think about the pressure. I’m focused on what needs to be done, how we can improve, and how I can lead and support my team.
But sometimes, around midnight when everything gets quiet, the stress hits.
The journey of being a small-business owner can be lonely.
Tonight was one of those nights. I came to ChatGPT looking for a little encouragement. Then, almost at the same time, I received several kind messages from both loyal and new customers.
My heart was warmed. And suddenly, I felt like I had the courage to keep going.
Our team works incredibly hard to bring authentic Korean fried chicken and good service to our community. We’re proud to have a 4.6 rating on Google and 4.8 on Yelp—but what means even more to me are the people behind those reviews.
This hasn’t been an easy year for a small restaurant. Construction has affected our business, inflation keeps pushing our costs higher, and the economy has made things challenging for many families and businesses.
But tonight reminded me why we keep going.
Every order matters.
Every returning customer matters.
Every kind message matters.
And every person who tells a friend about us matters.
We are still learning, still improving, and still fighting for this little business we believe in.
