Madison recap:
What an awesome competition. The Madison's BBQ Party has switched organizer hands 3 times in 3 years but still managed to pull off a VERY high level comp.
Of all the competitions that we roll to every year, this one is the stiffest and we still give them a run for the money.
This is also Shelby and I's favorite because of getting to head back to an awesome small town that's stuck in time somehow. Boutique hotels, theatres and a long list of local restaurants (and every single one is amazing)!
The overall cook went smooth and I actually started getting anxious during turn in windows because nothing bad or chaotic had yet happened lol and I was just waiting for the shoe to drop, but it never came. The weather was absolutely perfect... literally couldn't have asked for better.
Obviously didn't end up where we wanted but those Ribs are wanting to break into the Top 10 every time... we're hitting 11-15 at every KCBS Masters comp we attend. And this was out of 40+ Masters teams so we'll take the win.
