📣 A Message from Rani’s Kitchen 📣

We’ve received many messages asking why we are not open every day, so we wanted to provide a clear explanation of how Rani’s Kitchen operates and what our future plans look like.

Rani’s Kitchen is a certified MEHKO kitchen. This means we operate under the county’s Microenterprise Home Kitchen Operation regulations, which are very different from a traditional restaurant. Because we prepare everything from our home kitchen, we are only permitted to serve on the specific days we officially announce on our social media pages. If we have not posted for that day, it simply means we are not scheduled to serve.

These regulations ensure safety, quality, and compliance, but they also limit how often we can open. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue to operate within these guidelines.

Looking ahead, our goal is to secure a storefront location so we can serve the community more consistently and expand our offerings. We are actively working toward that next chapter, and your support helps bring us closer every day.

Thank you Imperial Valley for the support you have shown Rani’s Kitchen. Our goal has always been to bring people together through food and culture, and this community has allowed us to do that in a way we never expected. Your trust, your word of mouth, and your encouragement are the reasons we have grown.

Friday, December 12th, will be our last public serving until 2026 as we take time to welcome a new member of our family. We appreciate your patience and understanding while our family focuses on this new chapter in life.

Thank you for allowing us to be part of your homes and family traditions. We are grateful for every order, every share, and every kind word. None of this would have been possible without you.
