Hey Everyone this is Carey,
I’m the GM at The Break!
I want to thank everyone who has supported The Break so far! We are still new, this is our second summer and the past week was a doozy. Our tiny kitchen cranked out Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner in a kitchen that probably hit well over any normal temperature in this heatwave!! Our servers were all on double shifts with big positive energy and smiles for miles and our young teen support staff learned another level of strength and resilience.
Bartenders had the patience, speed, and finesse all well keeping up with our limited supply of glasses!
Valet staff got amazing farmers tans and probably about 100,000 steps in!!
We were so busy even spouses and family members got nominated to be part of the team this weekend!!
I can honestly say that our little staff family keeps me going, you guys are absolutely incredible and we couldn’t have done anything without you!!
We increased our foot traffic from last year by about 50-70 % over this holiday weekend!
We are still in awe and we are so grateful for everyone’s support!
Unfortunately we have received some negative reviews from unhappy customers who to those people I want to apologize from the bottom of my heart.
I know that you were disappointed and I am sorry for that.
All we can do is take those reviews as teachable moments and use the information to learn and grow for next year!
Thank you to everyone who continues to contribute to the good vibes at The Break, the summer has just begun! I hope we are able to continue to serve good food, cold drinks and keep the good vibes going
