**Media Release - Dough Co. Donuts Burglary Arrest**
On December 11th, 2024, at 3:01 AM, officers with Hutchinson Police Department were dispatched to a commercial burglary at Dough Co. Donuts, 1228 E 4th Ave. A male suspect forced entry into the business, damaged property and stole items. A photograph of the suspect was posted on various social media pages, including Hutchinson Police Departmentโs page.
Detectives received several Crime Stoppers tips throughout the day. On December 11th, 2024, at approximately 8:00 PM, a citizen called 911 and reported seeing a subject matching the description of the suspect at McDonaldโs, 20 East 4th Ave. Patrol officers and detectives responded and detained the subject. Zackery Reaves, 35-year-old male from Hutchinson, was arrested for Burglary, Felony Criminal Damage and Theft. Reaves is currently being held at Reno County Correctional Facility on a $25,000 bond, and a parole violation out of another state. Hutchinson Police Department would like to thank the citizens of Hutchinson. They were instrumental in identifying and locating the suspect.
