It's been a long time since my last visit to any new cafe. Today, I visited Luce Coffee Roasters. This is their 2nd location currently under soft opening. It is located in a brand new shopping center just north of 610. The atmosphere is cozy inside the cafe. You order and get your drink at the counter in the center of the cafe. Towards the back is their future classroom. You can go upstairs. There are tables and you can find their huge roaster upstairs. As for the current condition going on, they are not putting out too many tables and keeping everybody with 6ft apart. In the pictures, I ordered a cold brew which you can pick between Ethiopia and Brazil beans. The other one is their signature drink called Black Forest which is matcha topped with Charcoal powder. I am their fan since their first cafe. Other than drinks, you can find a lot of coffee equipments like dripper, kettles, milk jug and even their t-shirts. Grand open is just few weeks away. Good to see another great cafe in Houston.
