This needs to be seen.
What happened in Magnolia, Arkansas is NOT okay.
An inmate was sitting down, not being aggressive, when a correctional officer got in his face, put hands on him, and escalated the situation. When he reacted, he was taken down, tased, and while he was already on the ground… she SPIT on him.
Let that sink in.
This is abuse of power. This is not “protocol.” This is not “keeping order.” This is straight excessive force and blatant disrespect.
If this can happen to him, it can happen to anyone.
We are demanding a FULL investigation into the correctional officer involved.
We are demanding accountability.
We are demanding that appropriate disciplinary action be taken — including termination if these actions are confirmed.
This cannot be swept under the rug.
