Carlson and Martin met in college at the time when both worked as bartenders in Houston. They developed a long lasting friendship while learning the restaurant and pub business in a variety of locations throughou

t the years. In 1995, they took on the challenge of purchasing a true neighborhood institution, the 18-year old British concept Sherlock's Baker St. From that single location, they vaulted HUSA Management, Inc. into a diversified management company with 24 current locations. Dedicated to developing concepts that are exciting and unique from a guest perspective, Martin and Carlson operate with a hands-on management style and commitment to quality, value and service. They stay on top of business by ensuring that each location is operating at its best, relative to the market.
