Come out and joint me on June 19th as I receive a legacy award for carrying my family business to a new chapter. This month, 30 years ago my Father had a vision to establish a restaurant in the Settegast neighborhood to provide great food, a community gathering spot and local employment. He lived out his dream up until he past way 3years ago. However, before he departed he shared with his family how important it was to keep his vision alive. I adhered the call, and now we have become the hub of our community when it comes to providing great food, community involvement and creating reliable employment. I personally appreciate the fact that our local publication, Connection In Texas recognized our contribution and wanted to place a spot light on our efforts. This award is a big deal to my family because, it shows that when the foundation is established the vision can live on. So, come on out and show support to Mr. Lee, the man, the myth, the legend..

Mr. Charles Smith has been a loyal customer to Lee’s burger joint for over a year. We would like to show our appreciation by sharing, his all to often story of a Black man being wrongly convicted by a bias justice system. Mr. Smith was exonerated after being unjustly taken away from his family and community for 34 years. After being released the injustice system has never compensated Mr. Charles Smith. He have written a tell all autobiography of his battles inside the prison walls as an innocent prisoner. As well as his up hill battle as a newly freed man. I’m posting this in hopes that the reader show him some support by purchasing his book.
