Husky Food Access Network The Husky Food Access Network is here to support MTU students, faculty, staff, and their families in the fight against food insecurity.

HuskFAN is a place where students, faculty, and staff can access emergency resources needed to be successful at Michigan Tech. The Food Access network consists of the Food Pantry, Emergency Meals (located at Public Saftey), and Meal Swipes (available on HuskyFAN website). Hours of the pantry are updated each month and schedules are posted on our Facebook and Instagram accounts.

These emergency food resources are always available and are the most confidential to use.

The Husky Food Access Network also provides supplementary food resources in the HuskyFAN pantry that can be hard to afford (like fresh and frozen produce and protein.) The pantry has more variety of food available, but is less confidential to use because it is staffed by volunteers. We will never ask you for personal or identifying information.

This pop up pantry will be available over fall break 24/7 with tap access! It is entirely confidential to use, and like all HuskyFAN resources, it is free and doesn't require proof of need.

Email us if you're interested in volunteering to keep the HuskyFAN pantry open and stocked! We are entirely donation-based, and our open hours are entirely reliant on volunteer availability. Please use this network of community resources if accessing food is difficult, or contribute to it as you're able!

A huge thanks to our AMAZING Make a Difference Day volunteers, Gifty Odai and
Oscar Ugwoke, who decided to give their free time on a Saturday morning to give the pantry a deep clean and organize the donations!

Did you know that HuskyFAN's open hours depend entirely on volunteers? Send us an email at [email protected] if you're interested in giving some of your time to keeping the HuskyFAN pantry open.
