Meet Jason! 👋

Jason has been part of the SQZBX crew for about four months now, holding down the front of house and keeping things running smoothly as our FOH Manager. You’ll probably find him making sure everyone is taken care of, keeping the chaos under control, and occasionally having a very serious conversation about music. 😂

His go-to SQZBX order is loaded knots + an antipasto salad with Greek dressing, and when he’s not at SQZBX, he plays drums. 🥁

And then there’s his song of choice: “I Keep Forgetting” by Michael McDonald. He'd like it to be known that he feels zero guilt about this choice and will, in fact, argue with you about why it’s one of the greatest R&B songs ever written.
Also, for the record: it is NOT yacht rock.

We're taking SQZBX downtown 🍕🍺

Our second location is officially in the works on Central Ave, bringing pizza by the slice, SQZBX b**r on tap, a full bar, and another place to hang out downtown.

The OG isn't going anywhere. We're just making more room for the weirdos.

Something new is taking shape on Central Avenue in Hot Springs. 🍕

On this episode of Hamel ’Round Town, Brad stops by the future home of a second SQZBX Pizza location to see what they’re building and what’s coming next.

The original SQZBX Pizza isn’t going anywhere — this second location will bring a fast-casual pizza-by-the-slice concept, SQZBX b**r on tap, a full bar, and another place to gather downtown.

And there’s some history here. The SQZBX team has been buying materials from Hamel since they were building their original location.

Local businesses building local businesses. That’s what Hamel ’Round Town is all about.
