So with much contemplation, prayer, and overall assessing of the situation.... Crissy's Chuckwagon just wouldn't be the same without my dear wife in charge of the kitchen. Sure, I could probably pull together her ideas and make good food. Unfortunately, it wouldn't be with the same love and attention that Crissy could pull off. Attempting to do so would be a disservice the community and more so, a dishonor to the woman whose dream and passion was to feed each and every one whom she loved.

That being said, as the now sole proprietor and owner-operator of Crystal Enterprises, LLC (our parent corporate name) I've decided to move forward with other business ideas that will bring something different to the area that also serves our community. This page will remain open as a memorial of one of many a dream that we never got to make come true but it's not with sorrow but hope until another concept comes to life, God willing.

Thanks everyone for enormous amount of prayers, support, and joy that you've sent our direction. It means the world to me and know that Crissy is looking down from above and sees each of you. In the meantime, we ask that you support other local food businesses such as Fat Tony’s Pizza and for similar type food as our ChuckWagon - The Park Place Café.

Today I wanted to announce better news than this... It's with a very broken heart that Crissy Corbett has gone home to be with Our Lord in heaven. Her love language was expressed through food. She made creative dishes that were plentiful and delicious. It's these things that we wanted to share with the community she was born, raised, and called home. I have a lot of things to work through. She kept all her creations in her head and made good food with love not instructions. Stay tuned.

Remember a time when this was normal? You go into Kmart with the family. Buy a new pair of shoes for the children. Maybe pick up some essentials for the house. Then you stop by the cafeteria for a good meal on the cheap.

We remember and that's what we're trying to bring back. At least the food part, that is... You can expect simple dishes like this for fair prices. On-the-go.

You know that feeling... that excitement you got back then when this was on the menu. Our hope is that you get THIS excited to eat our food as well. Will flat tray pizza be on our menu? Probably not but you never know... :)

I don’t know about y’all, but I looked forward to those pizzas!
