We love seeing people create something truly their own—concepts, flavors, and experiences shaped by culture, ethnicity, family traditions, and personal history.
Behind so many of these ideas is something deeper: nostalgia, muscle memory, the food you grew up with, the aromas that remind you of home, and the traditions passed down without ever needing to be written down.
Throughout our lives, we’ve had the privilege of walking into so many different versions of home—Italian homes, Indian homes, Mexican homes, Colombian homes, Pakistani Homes, Chinese Homes, Filipino Homes, Turkish Homes, Egyptian Homes, Brazilian homes, African homes, and so many others.
They may all smell different.
They may look different.
The colors, languages, flavors, traditions, and people may all be different.
But when there is love, they all feel like home.
Hidden Grounds has always felt connected to more than one culture because that has always been our lived experience. We were never shaped by just one influence, one flavor, or one story.
We are a reflection of every home that welcomed us, every culture that inspired us, and every flavor that made us feel something familiar.
And we love seeing others build from that same place.
