You may not see Gavin featured quite as much, but he’s definitely part of the creative team behind Avery Cakes! He loves being the creative mind behind some of our unique flavor combinations, always dreaming up new ideas and asking, “What if we put this with that?” 😀

But Gavin has another passion… Comics!

And he’s currently in the Top 20 of the Super Kid contest!! We are so proud of him!! If he wins, he has a chance to be featured in a Stan Lee Universe comic and attend L.A. Comic Con!!

How CUTE are these little dumplings?.... And those tiny flowers!

I had to try this new trend. This adorable set includes 2 large cake pops + a mystery mini dumpling.

Flavors are Funfetti and Chocolate Fudge cake pops. The mini is not cake but does hold one of our signature mousse cake fillings that are rich and decident all on their own. 😀

Because everything tastes better when it’s this cute! 🥰

So glad I was able to get proper pictures of these before they headed out the door!

Rich chocolate cupcakes filled with a fluffy chocolate cream that perfectly mirrors the delicious center of a 3 Musketeers candy bar! Topped with chocolate buttercream, chocolate curls, and a 3 Musketeers bar.

Definitely worthy of a full glass of milk!

This weekend we helped celebrate a special second birthday.

Two Infinity and Beyond!

An 8-inch, 4-layer vanilla bean cake cake with a raspberry cream filling, finished with a bright Toy Story-inspired design featuring Woody, Jessie, Buzz, Bullseye, clouds, and all the fun details with custom toppers!

The cupcakes were vanilla bean cupcakes filled with chocolate fudge ganache, each decorated with its own Toy Story-inspired design.

One of my favorite things about custom orders is getting to create all the little details that make the celebration feel completely personal. ❤️

This homemade ice cream cake features:
- Graham cracker marshmallow ice cream
- Banana cream pie ice cream
- A buttery crumbled vanilla cookie crust and layered between the ice cream
- Finished with whipped buttercream topping, banana chips and vanilla wafers

Cold, creamy, crunchy, nostalgic, and packed with banana cream pie flavor in every bite. So good on this hot day!

“Sailing into Retirement” custom dessert set created for a pharmacist’s retirement celebration.
This featured order included:

- Vanilla Bean cake layered with strawberry cream filling, designed as the centerpiece of the celebration
- Banana blueberry cupcakes
- Double chocolate covered strawberry gluten-free cupcakes

A nautical-inspired dessert table created to mark a meaningful milestone with a mix of classic, fruit-forward, and gluten-free options for guests to enjoy.

Avery and her trial batch of Cosmic Brownies tonight- complete with a fudge topping and chocolate cosmic sprinkles. ❤️

We cant wait for these to cool off!!

This summer has been extra busy for our family. Avery is taking two horses to the fair this year and has even started trick riding, so our evenings and weekends have been more than filled.

Because of that, we've been keeping AveryCakes mostly to custom orders while we focus on family and fair season.

Today, Avery decided she wanted to spend some time in the kitchen and try her hand at muffins. These are her Banana Blueberry Muffins. We think she did a pretty amazing job for her first batch!

We couldn’t resist showing off this wholesome, horse-safe treat topped with hand-carved carrot hearts and a custom “1” topper 🐎

Because even our four-legged friends deserve to celebrate in style!
