"Happy Meal" at Hendersonville's Postero? It was a sendoff dinner for my sister before she hit the road for her out-of-state home early this morning.

It may have been the happiest meal I've had at Postero in recent memory (NOT because she was leaving 😅). It started with a fantastic Old Fashioned for me and Margarita for Sally, continued with every dish, and wrapped up with a shared delicious, creative dessert. Details in photo captions.

Our server set the bar for timeliness, patience, friendliness, and accuracy.

Second Chapter: Mexican Standoff on Main Street, Hendersonville?

UPDATE: read comments for additional information from CE readers.

Walked Main St today - in the shaded parts as much as I could - and can report that another Mexican restaurant, Las Margaritas, is going in next door to Tipsy Taco!

Looks like they've hired Peacock Architects, a premier Hendersonville architectural firm, to help them ready the space.

No idea if they're related to the Las Margaritas at 127 Hwy 64 in Cashiers, NC or any other Las Margaritas.

Will they both play different national music outside, nice and loud, at the same time as the previous two did? We'll see.
