It has been approximately 7,492 degrees outside lately... basically the surface of the sun. 🔥🥵

Most sane people are avoiding turning on their ovens.

Meanwhile... I'm over here cranking mine up and filling the kitchen with the smell of fresh bread, cookies, and all the good things. Because heat or not, delicious baked goods wait for no one.

If I'm going to melt, I might as well do it while making something worth eating. 😉❤️🍞🍪

It's been a little quiet in the baking kitchen lately, but I promise there's a lot happening behind the scenes.

I've been working on new recipes, dreaming up new treats, and putting together a little something extra that I'm beyond excited to share with you soon. ☕❤️ I can't spill all the beans just yet, but trust me... it's worth the wait!

In the meantime, let's admire this gorgeous chocolate chip banana bread fresh out of the oven. My bananas were finally perfectly ripe, so I couldn't resist baking a loaf today.

And if you've never pan-fried a slice with a little cooking spray until it's golden and slightly crispy... you're missing out. It might just be one of life's simplest little joys.

There’s just something about blueberry muffins 💙

These sourdough blueberry muffins came out soft, golden, and bursting with berries… but they’re more than just a treat to me. They’re a little piece of nostalgia.

My grandpa used to bring home blueberry muffins from a local bakery, and I loved those slow mornings having breakfast with him. While he’s no longer here, something as simple as a warm muffin still brings me right back to his kitchen—and always puts a smile on my face.

Funny how food can hold memories like that 🩷

🔥 Cheddar Jalapeño Sourdough 🔥

Crackly crust, gooey pockets of melty cheddar, and just the right jalapeño kick—this loaf does NOT stick around long.

It’s the kind of bread you slice “just to try”… and suddenly half the loaf is gone before it even cools 😅

Perfect toasted, piled high with your favorite sandwich fixings, or honestly just torn apart and eaten straight off the board.
