Fall menu is here 👀💛

Starting Friday, September 25!

This coffee came to us from the Ureña family of Café Rivense Café Rivense del Chirripó skilled producers who have been growing and processing coffee in Costa Rica’s Chirripó region since 2005.

Founded by Régulo Ureña and Isabel Rojas, Café Rivense is now managed alongside their children. Every stage of processing takes place at the family’s own micromill, allowing them to guide each lot with precision and maintain complete quality control and traceability.

For the label, we had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with Susana Salas Su Salas a Costa Rican illustrator and designer, whose work explores nature, femininity, self-knowledge, and the mystical.

El Mango is sold out, but a few postcards featuring Susana’s artwork are still available, a small piece of this coffee’s journey to keep. 💌

From Oaxaca’s cloud-covered mountains 🇲🇽☕️

Benito José Reyes is a skilled coffee producer and a dedicated member of the Pergamineros project in San Agustín Loxicha. Working alongside Iván Alberto Pacheco, he brings deep agricultural knowledge, precision, and a clear vision for quality to this expressive Pluma lot.

The coffee undergoes two carefully managed fermentation stages, 24 hours before pulping and another 24 hours afterward, followed by 6–8 days of drying on raised beds.

In the cup: 🍯 Molasses❤️ Raspberry🍇 Green grape

Imported by our friends at Intentionally sourced green coffee coffee represents the kind of supply chain we believe in: full traceability, professional recognition and fair compensation. kazkara was honored to become Benito’s first client for the first lot exported under his own name.

The label artwork comes from Mexican illustrator Alejandra Macouzet, whose vibrant and whimsical work invites us to slow down, reconnect, and appreciate every detail. Find more of her work at: Alejandra Macouzet Illustrator

A little throwback to one of our favorite collaborations 🇧🇷☕

This coffee came from Luis Otavio Turati, a third-generation coffee producer in Brazil’s Cerrado region. Building on the work of his family, Luis Otavio has focused on elevating quality through consistency, innovation, and a deep commitment to specialty coffee. The result was a comforting cup with notes of cacao, fig, macadamia, and cinnamon, one we looked forward to sharing every day.

We were also honored to collaborate with Luiza Albertini Luiza Albertini a talented Brazilian multidisciplinary artist based in Toronto. Through bold colors and playful compositions inspired by her Latin American roots, Luiza created a label that celebrates the beauty of Brazil’s coastline and invites us to slow down, be present, and connect with the place where this coffee was grown.

These collaborations are what make kazkara so special to us, bringing together incredible producers, talented artists, and a shared appreciation for the stories behind every cup 🇧🇷💛
