Plans for Birkie week:
Thursday we will have Big T’s BBQ at The Great Hall near Telemark.
Friday Honey Badger Bites and Big Ts BBQ will be at the Birkie Celebration Zone downtown Hayward. Come have a burrito bowl, soup, mac and cheese bowl, smoked brisket and smoked pulled pork sandwiches along with coleslaw. Try our Birkie Blueberry soup that is served hot and full of nutrients.

I also want to give a quick shout out to all the Birkie workers and volunteers that make this event amazing. Thank you to all of you.

Freezing Weather Prompts Adjustment to Christmas In Hayward festivities on Saturday, Dec 13th!

Due to the expected extreme freezing temperatures this Saturday, December 13th, activities staged and hosted at The Lot and outdoors this Saturday downtown hayward WILL BE POSTPONED and are Rescheduled for Saturday, DECEMBER 20th!

Downtown Hayward Business Improvement District, The Lot, Hayward Dance Experience and Christmas In Hayward organizers have decided that everyone’s safety and comfort are our top priorities, and the weather conditions make it unsafe to proceed as originally planned with the long-time exposure expected for these fun outdoor activities.

We look forward to better conditions on December 20th when you’ll enjoy:

Reminder today we will be in the Slumberland parking lot. We will be serving our usual plus our Hunter special which is smoked bbq pulled pork sandwich and a side Mac and cheese. You can also add coleslaw on the side or on your sandwich.
