Powers on and we’re open!

Sun’s out, kitchen’s up, and we’re ready to go. Baked potatoes are in the oven now, so those come back later this afternoon. Everything else is ready right now, and it’s a pretty good day for a cheesesteak!

Today cost us a lunch, so if you were thinking about coming in this week, tonight would be a great night for it! We’d love to serve you! 🫶

🚨 UPDATE: We’re open!

PPL is here! Bad news first..

It’s the transformer, not just a fuse. They’re telling us an hour to an hour and a half. That puts us right around 12 or 12:30, so we’re planning to open as soon as the power is back. We’ll post the second we’re live.

One thing for sure: no baked potatoes today. They need a couple hours in the oven and we won’t have them for lunch service.

Thanks for hanging with us. Hopefully we will be back at it shortly!

🚨 UPDATE: We’re open!

Well. Not how we want to start our Friday 😩

Walked into the restaurant this morning and half the power is on, half is off. Checked with Playa Bowls and Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices next door and they’ve got the same thing going on.

Bad news: This is going to affect service today.

Good news: The cause is a blown fuse on the pole and PPL is on the way to fix it.

We’re hoping to be open for lunch. If we’re running late we’ll let you know here.

One thing for sure: no baked potatoes for lunch. They need a couple hours in the oven and we can’t start them until the hood system is back on.

In the meantime we’re pulling product and restocking so we’re ready the second the lights come back!

Two events today. Zero of them on the schedule when the week started. 😅

A last minute catering over lunch, and by sunset the food truck was parked at the Stage at Riverfront Park serving the Slightly Stoopid crowd. Views like this don’t get old!

Not a bad way to end the day! 🚚
