We weren’t going to address the negativity, but after seeing some of the comments on the VERY FIRST DAY of our new menu, we feel like this needs to be said. 💗
When you purchase from a small business, you aren’t just paying for the ingredients on your plate.
You’re paying for the food, supplies, packaging, equipment, fuel, propane, permits, insurance, prep time, hours spent shopping, cooking, cleaning, setting up, tearing down, and everything else it takes to keep a food trailer running.
And yes… we have to pay ourselves too. This is our FULL-TIME JOB. This is how we make a living and support our families.
As for using AI for some of our advertising and menu designs—we’re a small business, not a marketing company. 😂 If technology helps us create something cute, advertise our business, and save money doing it, you better believe we’re going to use it. The AI isn’t back there cooking your grilled cheese, though. 😂
We have worked HARD on this new menu for quite some time. We planned it, tested it, bought the equipment and supplies, and finally put ourselves out there to try something new. To see so much negativity on the very first day is honestly disappointing.
Our prices may not be for everyone—and that is completely okay. ❤️ You are never obligated to purchase from us. But tearing down a small, local business because you personally wouldn’t pay the price doesn’t accomplish anything.
To everyone who showed up today, ordered, shared our posts, encouraged us, or simply wished us well—THANK YOU. Those are the people we choose to focus on.
We’re learning. We’re growing. And we’re going to keep STACKIN’. 🥞🔥
