Today the feelings are impossible to put into words... I know you would've had the words.
You as the poet, the writer, the wanderer, the sister, the daughter, the lover the friend. The rock, the willow, the bright bougainvillea blossom, the endless sunset. Your eye and heart for this world and the people in it is forever imprinted on me on us. Your brave vulnerability and fierce feminine spirit changed me. It changed all of us. You are such a large part of our story and I know we were a part of yours. Today we honor you extra on this day of your birth as we often shared together. As the sky's masterpiece unfolds with the sun melting into the bay, as the colorful waves roll in you'll be there with us in spirit forever. Happy birthday sweet sister. We'll be loving you always ♾️
