We specialize in New York style pizza as well as sandwiches, salads and pasta dishes. Matthew Sutton started working at Domino’s Pizza when he was 16 years old for spending money. He began making deliveries and later making pizzas. From there, over the last 20 years, he has worked in several different pizzerias with experience in all aspects of the restaurant while also receiving his degree in Spo
rts and Fitness Management with a minor in Supply Chain Management. His passion though is using his creative imagination to make delicious pizzas and doing so his own way. He specializes in New York style pizza, but can make any variety from Chicago deep dish, Neapolitan and Detroit style. His dream has been to own his own pizzeria where he can showcase his unique style without the limitations put upon him from franchise restrictions. In 2017 it seemed the timing was right for him to strike out on his own. He partnered with his mom, Jackie Gertsch, and his dad, Don Sutton, and with the support of his partner in life, Haley Gaston, they went on a mission to find the right location. After a couple of hits and misses they found their location and closed on the property in December 2018. Build out and renovations began in January 2019 after the birth of his and Haley’s baby, Nevada Rose. Finally, after months of progress and a few setbacks, the restaurant was ready to open in March2020. Our vision is to be a neighborhood pizzeria serving the finest pizzas and pastas using the freshest ingredients possible. We want everyone to feel comfortable bellying up to the bar for a craft beer or a glass of wine and enjoy a game on one of our multitude of televisions. Or dine in the dining room with family.
