The history of coffee in Louisiana is rich and strong. For more than two centuries, the finest coffee beans from around the world have always come here first. Coffee arrived in New Orleans in 1720 when French explorers introduced it to the city. Today, one third of all the coffee in North America lands first on the docks of the Crescent City. Savor a cup of coffee almost anywhere in North America and you'll taste New Orleans. Naturally, the largest coffee roasting plant in the world is located here too. Every cup of coffee PJ's best represents our commitment to the legacy and culture of the Crescent City.
