To our valued customers,
We want to address a concern that has been shared regarding one of our hamburgers.
Yesterday, a customer received a bun that unfortunately had a small spot of mold on the bottom. While this is extremely rare, it is unacceptable, and we sincerely apologize to the customer for the experience.
Our buns are delivered fresh multiple times each week and are stored on commercial bread racks designed to allow proper airflow. The batch involved was delivered on Tuesday with a Best By date of July 6. However, the recent combination of extreme heat, rapid temperature swings, and very high humidity appears to have caused the bread to spoil much sooner than expected.
As soon as we became aware of the issue, we immediately discarded every remaining bun from that delivery—even those that appeared perfectly fine—and replaced our inventory with a fresh shipment. We are also reviewing additional storage methods, including insulated bread rack covers and other solutions, to better protect our products during these unusual weather conditions.
When the issue was brought to our attention, we immediately offered to replace the customer’s meal and provide a full refund. The customer instead requested a store credit, which we were happy to provide.

We inspect our products throughout the day, and if we ever find anything that doesn’t meet our standards, it is thrown away immediately.
