Our beautifully renovated facilities offer plenty of room to accommodate up to 125 guests (actual number determined by room configuration). Linen, A/V, lighting, and specialty china/flatware rentals are available. Catering trailer is available for a more food-truck style event if that's more your vision, too!

🎃 Help MPC Pick Our Halloween Movie! 👻

Spooky season is almost here, and we're planning a Vintage Halloween Movie & Dinner Night at the Cohen Center in Hallowell!

Before we announce ALL the details, we need your vote! We’ve narrowed it down to three classic Halloween films. Take a look at the choices below and reply with A, B, or C for the movie you'd most like to see. You can vote even if you don't plan to attend!

🌱 A. The Little Shop of Horrors (1960)
A quirky, campy horror-comedy about a very unusual plant with an even more unusual appetite.

🎠 B. Carnival of Souls (1962)
A moody, eerie cult classic with an abandoned carnival, ghostly encounters and plenty of vintage Halloween atmosphere.

🏚️ C. House on Haunted Hill (1959)
Classic spooky fun starring Vincent Price — a creepy mansion, plenty of mystery and just the right amount of camp.

We'll have a fun Halloween-themed dinner, festive desserts, and a cash bar available.

Costumes are welcome but certainly not required. Come as you are!

Dear Colby, Thomas & KVCC students: we have a proposition.

Your dorm room has four walls.

So does The Atlas Room.

Ours just happens to have cocktails, mocktails, snacks, WiFi, board games, a pool table and significantly better vibes. 😏

Bring the laptop. Bring your friends. Claim a table. Stay awhile.

We're not a coffee shop that's going to glare at you for occupying a table.

We're not a restaurant trying to turn it three times.

We're here until 7 anyway.

"What is the Atlas Room?"

The Atlas Room isn't really a restaurant.

It isn't really a bar.

And you absolutely don't need a reason to come here.

It's a tucked-away little lounge inside the Muskie Center where you can grab a drink, meet up with friends, play pool, break out a board game, get some work done, or just disappear from the world for a couple hours.

No reservations. No dress code. No pressure to order dinner.

And starting now, we're staying open later.
