Do you have deli counter experience?

Can you make a sandwich without it looking like it was assembled during an earthquake?

Can you handle sandwiches, salads, prep work, and the occasional customer who thinks “light mayo” is a legally binding measurement?

We’re hiring an experienced deli counter person!
Pay averages $15–$17/hr with base pay + shared tips.
Must be available nights and weekends.

Perks include: PTO, major holidays off, and the joy of working somewhere that fully appreciates a properly wrapped sandwich.

Experience required. A good attitude required. Ability to not panic when the printer starts screaming orders is strongly preferred.

Join us for our Hiring Event:

📅 Saturday, May 30th
⏰ 11 AM – 2 PM
📍 The Ice Cream District Cafe

We’re looking for awesome humans to cross-train in:

🍦 Ice Cream Scooping
☕ Barista Magic
🚗 Delivery Driving
🥪 Sandwich Making & Prep

Experience preferred, but we’re happy to train the right candidate with a great attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.

🕖 We’ll be open 7 days a week:
7 AM – 8 PM
🌙 Until 9 PM on Fridays & Saturdays during summer

Requirements: ✔️ Must be available to work nights & weekends
✔️ Must enjoy people (or at least fake it convincingly 😆)
✔️ Must be dependable, hardworking, and able to multitask without short-circuiting

🚨 A little note for parents (said with love ❤️):

We adore parents, truly. But if your kiddo wants a job, we ask that they apply themselves and contact us directly. Please don’t have mom or dad call for them. We’re looking for interest, independence, confidence, and initiative....First job? Awesome. First lesson: Making the call yourself 😁

If ice cream, coffee, sandwiches, and a little organized chaos sounds like your vibe…we want to meet you!

Look… at this point we’re just showing random attention-grabbing photos because the shop still looks like a war zone.

😂We’re officially in the “it gets worse before it gets better” stage... but behind the dust, pipes, and random holes in the floor, progress IS happening!

2 steps back. 1 step forward. Repeat until ice cream. 🍦😂
