Revery is a mid-sized restaurant located in the family-friendly, uniquely charming neighborhood of Old Town Greenwood. Revery’s focus is offering a simple, artistic presentation of local products such as Indiana craft beers, locally grown produce, and livestock or wild game from across the state whenever possible. It is Revery’s goal to offer our guests a place to explore an affordable progressive American style cuisine without the hassle of driving into downtown Indianapolis. Revery, opened in August 2014, and is a locally owned and operated start-up restaurant that serves lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch. With Revery’s frequently changing, seasonally inspired menu, chef’s hope is to spark a sense of creativity, imagination, and adventure by discovering food in a new way while entertaining guests in an upscale, modern-meets-rustic environment. Additional perks to dining at Revery will include free parking behind the building or in the city lot across the street, an outdoor patio space, a private dining space, and close proximity to all of the local happenings in downtown Greenwood and its community.

Pan-seared California rockfish over charred poblano rice with borracho beans and roasted tomatillo butter.

California rockfish is a mild, flaky white fish with a clean flavor and a firm, delicate texture that holds up beautifully to a hot pan sear. We’re letting the fish stay at the center of the plate, building around it with smoky charred poblano rice, creamy borracho beans, and roasted tomatillo butter for a bright, tangy finish.

We went a little Texas with this one. Smoky, rich, a little heat, plenty of acid, and a beautiful piece of fish right in the middle of it.

If you’ve never had halibut cheeks, now’s your chance. They’re one of the best bites on the entire fish. Tender, sweet, almost scallop-like, and we only have a limited amount.

SABLEFISH 🔥

Well… y’all absolutely blew through 30 POUNDS of lionfish, so we had to bring in something else special for the weekend.

Enter sablefish, also known as black cod, and in my opinion one of the best eating fish in the ocean.

If you’ve never had it, this fish is ridiculously rich, buttery and damn near melts in your mouth. We’re running it on the same setup because honestly, there was no reason to mess with a good thing.

Pan roasted sablefish
White cheddar spoon bread
Bacon braised cabbage
Apple c***r brown butter
Cornbread crumb
Chive

If you liked the lionfish, come try this.

And judging by how fast 30 pounds disappeared… I probably wouldn’t wait too long. 🤘
