Street vendors are essential food workers, providing access to affordable food in many of our communities nationwide. This is a joint effort among street vendor advocacy organizations from Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, and Washington D.C. in conversation with Yajaira from La Morada Restaurant, an undocumented family-owned and operated Oaxaca Restaurant in the South Bronx, NYC.
This gathering will be in Spanish with English subtitles and call-in lines for Arabic and Mandarin translations.
